About Me

Hello! My name is Elisha. I am currently seeking employment with a company that values contributing to the growth and understanding of both their clients and employees.

I have spent the past 7 years working for a small business in the study abroad industry. I managed a team of employees in recruiting and advising US university and high school students and enrolling them in our programs in Spain, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Argentina. My personal mission was to assist students in their journey to learn more about Spanish-speaking countries and their cultures, creating opportunity for increased understanding and contribution to the world, as global citizens.

As the year 2020 has changed the landscape of professional development for many, I am investigating opportunities for growth in a new industry.

I have 5 years of management experience and 10 years of experience in customer service, sales, and marketing in a small-business environment.

I grew up in Austin, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University in May 2011 with a degree in International Studies and a focus in Latin American Studies. I can speak, read, and write conversational Spanish.

In my free time (prior to quarantine), I play soccer with Austin Coed Soccer Association. I sing with Nick Hirsch & The Natural Disasters, a band with Americana roots, based in San Marcos. I play a little guitar, I am addicted to crossword puzzles, and I love to run and ride my bicycle near Town Lake.
